1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Hangzhou Yuling Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the ItTalk mobile application, account services, invitation-code access, pet profile features, pet photo upload, AI pet avatar generation, questionnaire features, AI conversation features, app-based voice interaction features, app-based device connection and status display, device-synced data display, help-mode configuration, customer support, and related online services (collectively, the "App Service").

This Privacy Policy does not cover the physical hardware product itself, hardware-side data collection mechanics, hardware operating instructions, hardware safety, hardware warranty, hardware returns, hardware repair, hardware delivery, or crowdfunding commitments. Those matters should be addressed in separate device terms, product manuals, warranty terms, purchase terms, crowdfunding terms, or hardware privacy notices where applicable.

When you connect a compatible device to the App Service, the App Service may receive and display data synced from that device. This Policy describes how we process such data once it is received by the App Service.

The App Service is intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly allow children to create accounts or use the App Service.

3. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide, information generated when you use the App Service, information received by the App Service from compatible connected devices, and information from service providers or platforms.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to provide account login, verify invitation codes, manage pet profiles, process pet photos, generate AI pet avatars, provide AI conversations and app-based voice interactions, display app-visible connected-device data, configure help mode, send notifications, provide support, maintain security, prevent fraud or abuse, troubleshoot errors, analyze app performance, improve the App Service, and comply with legal obligations.

5. App Permissions

Camera and photos: to capture, select, upload, save, or share pet photos, AI-generated images, or support screenshots.

Microphone: to enable app-based voice input or app-based voice interaction when you choose to use those features.

Bluetooth/nearby devices: to discover, bind, or connect compatible devices through the App Service.

Notifications: to send service notices, generation-completion notices, reminders, connected-device status notices, or help-mode related notices.

Network access: to provide login, AI generation, cloud processing, analytics, crash reporting, and support features.

Location: the current core App Service does not rely on precise location, pet tracking, or geofencing. If a future feature requires location, we will request permission and provide additional notice where required.

For China-region builds, JPush and Alibaba Cloud EMAS Mobile Push may both remain integrated to support service continuity, while the actual push channel may be selected or switched based on the app version, device environment, and technical configuration. Umeng+ U-APM and Alibaba Cloud EMAS Mobile Monitoring are alternative monitoring services; only one is enabled at a time to collect and transmit crash or performance data, and the inactive monitoring SDK does not collect or transmit such data. SDKs that process personal information are initialized or started after the user agrees to the applicable privacy notice, except for pre-configuration that does not initiate data collection.

If we replace or add SDKs, including a possible future change from Sentry to Firebase Crashlytics or another Firebase crash-reporting service, we will update this Policy and applicable in-app disclosures as required.

7. Disclosure of Information

We may disclose information to service providers that process information on our behalf, to comply with law, to protect rights and safety, in connection with a business transaction, or with your consent. We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of children under 16.

8. International Data Transfers

We are headquartered in China and may process information in China, the United States, or other locations where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards and comply with applicable legal requirements for cross-border transfers.

9. Retention

Account information, invitation-code records, pet profiles, uploaded pet photos, AI-generated results, questionnaire information, conversation records, and app-visible device-synced data are generally retained while your account remains active or as needed to provide the App Service. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, when you delete it, when your account is closed, or when required by law, unless retention is necessary for legal, security, dispute-resolution, or compliance purposes.

10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or information about our data practices. You may contact us at the email listed above to exercise rights.

You may also manage app permissions through your device settings and may request account deletion through the App Service or by contacting us.

11. U.S. State Privacy Notice

Residents of certain U.S. states, including California and other states with privacy laws, may have rights to know/access, delete, correct, obtain a copy of, and opt out of certain uses or disclosures of personal information. We do not currently use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as a primary feature of the App Service. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide legally required choices.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, such as access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, logging, monitoring, and security review. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

13. Children

The App Service is intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App Service or other reasonable means. The updated Policy will be effective as of the date stated above unless otherwise specified.
